Build Combat Bots After an Apocalypse in Robot Recylcer Ryn

In a new post via X, indie developer and publisher Rablo Games just announced their next project is Robot Recycler Ryn! The post-apocalyptic RPG centers on crafting robots for battle. Also, thank you Pirate PR for the heads up about this neat little game!

Robot Recycler Ryn includes both a Story Mode and a Construction Mode. So, you can choose between a journey in the Recycler Rumble League, or pure assembly—with test battles, for posterity. Carefully use a range of tools to create effective robots to battle rival clans in the year 2530!

This indie doesn’t have a release date just yet. You can now wishlist Robot Recycler Ryn on the official Steam page, where it mentions a target release window of Q4 2026. Here’s the announcement post from Rablo Games for a brief gameplay trailer!

Ryn’s premise instantly caught my eye, since I grew up with BattleBots in the 90’s. I’m sure Big Hero 6 made similar themes popular too, but there’s just something timeless about such tinkering.

Since Ryn offers a mode exclusively for building, and players can choose between active or auto-battles, constructions appears to be the heart of the game. I think that’s a smart angle, and I appreciate that building phases directly influence your robots’ strength, per the Steam page.

I feel Robot Recycler Ryn does show its budget, visually, but the designs of your potential robots are clearly full of charm. The worldbuilding itself is intriguing enough to warrant a Story Mode, but I’d like the replay value and simplicity of Construction Mode.

You may recognize Rablo Games from Healer’s Quest and Necro Story. Both games mustered positive reviews on Steam, and have a distinguishable spark of imagination. So, be sure to follow and support their new project!
